If you look at the examples in PEAR::SOAP, you will find very little difference between nusoap and PEAR::SOAP. This is because both packages are based on soapx4. The decision to use one or the other is a decision on whether you want to use the PEAR architecture or not. Also, the C extension and PEAR::SOAP will be developed to work together well, so that there is a migration path to a faster soap library.

Hi, Nice one - the NuSOAP code looks very easy to work with. I have quickly seen it before but decided to try and work with the PEAR code first. The NuSOAP code makes it almost trivial to create a web service. Is it like one or the other - PEAR vs NuSOAP ? I know there's no competition but one would use one or the other I assume. Cheers. Rudi.Hi, just wanted to mention that there is a little NuSOAP tutorial over on zend.com: http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/tutorial-campbell.php might help to get started regards, Lukas -- PHP Soap Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
