pear::soap over ssl

Hi, I've just gotten the pear::soap libraries installed, and all the dependent pear modules. (curl,request,url,etc.). I have a server-side perl::lite soap cgi that works via http and https (the server is setup for both). I can connect via a perl soap client, and an ms C soap client from two different systems to my perl server both through http and https. However, I can only connect via http using the php soap client, not https. I get this error and no xml message ever gets sent from the client, i confirmed that using tcpdump on the client machine, i can see it's outgoing message via https, but nothing on http. soap_fault Object ( [error_message_prefix] => [mode] => 1 [level] => 1024 [code] => Parser [message] => couldn't build response [userinfo] => [callback] => ) Any ideas? thanks -- You can get my public key at <http://steve.webninja.com> or search for KeyID 0x0F737450 at www.keyserver.net
