Hmm, the overload extension has been included as default in PHP since at least 4.3.0 IIRC. It is on by default on 4.3.1, so you can use that right now. Cheers.

Yeah, but it's pretty broken. I just fixed one bug, but there are others that are still causing problems.

And as my primary goal is to get a SOAP server (beside the already existing XMLRPC server) working for Horde, we don't want to add another dependancy for the users before they can install and use Horde if not absolutely necessary. Shane's "fallback" scenario would work with almost every PHP 4 version. Jan.
