Arnaud,
I don't quite understand your response. It's the PHP CLI that I'm
talking about. It's invoked whether you do ".../genproxy.php" or
"php .../genproxy.php".
It's just that if you do "php .../genproxy.php" and forget to give
the -q option, you will get HTTP cruft out if you are writing a
PHP CLI web services application (the cruft comes out when you are
running the application, not just when you are running genproxy).
But if we add "#! /usr/bin/php -q" to the top of genproxy.php, then
the cruft won't come out, no matter how genproxy.php is invoked.
