reHi Hannes,
It was my understanding (and someone else who was there, feel free to
correct me) but yes, we discussed and voted. It was agreed that each
framework represented got a single vote and Travis spoke for PEAR. So no, I
do not believe the three decisions made should be re-opened for discussion.
No, I am not kidding, there was ample discussion on each of these items.
I'm sure if we missed something in the standards it will come to light and
once it does, at that point, if all parties agree, we can re-open discussion
on items voted on. I am only talking about the decisions, not the example
code. If there is a typo in the example code, of course we can revise it.
Actually, in reading the notes on the resolutions that passed, I think Brett
did an excellent job. I'm happy to run them by a few other PHP developers to
make sure that the descriptions are correct but the descriptions aren't what
was voted on, the resolution were. We can always add text to make things
clearer as long as the original resolution isn't changed.
I apologize if I've jumped the gun, if your intent was to just clarify
descriptions and sample code. It sounded like you wanted to re-open the
discussions on items that had already been passed.
=C=
p.s. I forgot to Reply All so Hannes got 2 copies of this email and was nice
enough to point out my error. :)
