I'll clarify here, bringing people from other frameworks to get their input is not for what has been agreed upon but for what will be discussed in the future. We foresaw people (in that case) you being unhappy about the fact that we'd take decisions but in the end we were the ones present and we represent a wide load of PHP users (At least 5.3 users as most people writing scripts won't care all that much about 5.3 (Or 5.2 for that matter)). What we'd like to do is that in the future (starting the day I sent that to you) let people apply to be part of the standards group and discuss issues, bring their inputs, etc. What has been voted on, has been voted on. If we did make trivial typos, I'm sure we all have the good sense of resolving it, but re-opening the discussion on a subject that had been voted is not going to happen or it'll defeat the whole purpose of our meeting(s) Sorry if that original email caused confusion but we do hope to gather input from other members of the community as well. -- Slan, David
