Hi,
I just received this message on facebook which clearly illustrates the
problem I perceive with the process as it currently is being conducted
(named removed, I'm not trying to demonize anyone):
**** sent you a message.

Subject: PHP Standards
Hello,
I've been following the developments on the PHP Standards list, and just like for you, the way
things are handled is somewhat disappointing.
I wouldn't mind a solution dropped from above, if it was well thought out and consistent with
the way people use PHP; after reading the proposal it seems it's not the case here.
I tried to send a constructive comment on part of the proposed spec, but my messages are not getting
through. I suppose I have to be specifically white-listed, and it's not very clear to me who to
contact and how I could make that happen. Ideas?
Thank you for all the work you do for the PHP community. It's refreshing to see someone who
makes sense when such issues arise, for a change.
Regards,
****

This person sums up perfectly my thoughts on the subject. Thanks to all
who have written me off-list, I have had very limited time, but will
reply to all of you.
Thanks,
Greg
