Hi, someone today asked me a very interesting
question:
For example, if I have a very heavy query called
from a php script, one that could take arround 50
seconds in getting executed. If for some reason
the user hits the stop button before the 50
seconds have passed the query will finish but when
it sees that there's no client nothing will
happen. That is a very big loss of speed and
performance. Is there a way that when the user
hits the stop button it inmediatelly terminates
the query without waiting to thew query to finish?
That's possible with ASP and the question is that
is possible with php.
thanks.
