Hi Jean,
You should check via a phpinfo(); tag to see if the ODBCINI variable is
being picked up. I would imagine that is not being seen.
I would recommend defining your ODBCINI, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, ODBCINST etc via a
putenv(); in your script. If phpinfo(); shows them, you should not have
this problem.
Best regards,
Andrew

Subject: [PHP4BETA] linux iodbc-2.50 driver
I compiled php4b4 pl1 with iodbc
and I have the following error message with the code:
$con=
odbc_connect("SERVER=goldorak;DATABASE=mydb;UID=azerty;PWD=azerty;","","");
Warning: SQL error: [iODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found
and no default driver specified. Driver could not be loaded, SQL state
IM002 in SQLConnect
how do we specify the default driver? since I have set it in the
/usr/local/lib/odbc.ini like
[goldorak]
driver = /usr/lib/libiodbc.so
...
and also set the env variable
ODBCINI=/usr/local/lib/odbc.ini
any body help?
