: PHP does have local variables. Or do you mean something else?
$cnt = 0; while ( $cnt++ < 10 )
{
LOCAL $var;
$var = "blah";
}
is something like that supported? Or more general:
$str = "whizkid";
print $str; // whizkid, this print is unnecessary for demo
{
$str = "faisal";
print $str; // faisal
}
print $str; // faisal again! not local! there is no 'LOCAL' or similar
keyword
I am sorry, I actually meant block-level scoping....
Is it possible before (or inside) the final v4 release?
Thank you.
