: I have a very complex project involving a lot of included files with
classes and big arrays. It seems that PHP4 still uses a lot of time parsing
these include-files and arrays.
: I had expected PHP4 to parse this once and thereby strip the overhead of
this parsing in the next hit on the script?
PHP Team,
Does it make sense to have something like superinclude(), which
loads a file into memory (when used as ISAPI or mod_php), and
keep it in memory, and on next request, just check if it was updated,
if it is, re-load it else use the pre-loaded (and parsed classes, arrays,
strings and constants!) one. That is what mod_perl does!
