Hi,
I just compiled php 4.0b4p1 using the following command:
./configure --with-apxs=/opt/apache-1.3.12/bin/apxs
--prefix=/opt/apache-1.3.12/php
--with-config-file-path=/opt/apache-1.3.12/php/conf --enable-safe-mode
--with-exec-dir=/opt/apache-1.3.12/php/bin --enable-track-vars
--enable-magic-quotes --with-mysql=/opt/mysql-3.22.32
after that I did
gmake
gmake install
Now I tried to start apache, and I get this in my logfiles:
[Thu Mar 9 13:01:42 2000] [warn] Loaded DSO libexec/libphp4.so uses plain
Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile it
with -DEAPI)
[Thu Mar 9 13:01:43 2000] [notice] Apache/1.3.12 (Unix) PHP/4.0b4pl1
configured -- resuming normal operations
but everything seems to be working fine...
