I had overlooked that. Now have added a new "php" and "odbc" filter to my
Eudora to notice all future messages.

You're right. I recently had switched from release sources to CVS, and apparently was using
sources from 4.0beta4 which did _not_ handle it. Sorry.

Will do. I should do so by checking in another version that has these patches removed, right?

You mean "incompatibilities to" the 3.0.x series. To avoid exactly that, after at first
patching into odbc_exec() I then instead have introduced (my version) a function odbc_procedure(),
which allows output parameters together with odbc_procedure_more() and odbc_procedure_output(). I
should send you the files before I check them in, so you'll see.
As far as I can tell none of the existing functions is changed in their behavior.
The naming seems to make sense, as only SQL procedures can have output parameters, right?

Will be in same files that I'll send you over. Today I am converting sources from php3 to
php4. I have it working fine under php3, but that is no longer important.
