This usually happens to me after not properly linking in support
for certain libs or not compiling the libs properly. For example, I
compiled mcrypt/mhash inproperly and it caused this very same condition,
(the posix stuff). The latest mysql rpms (3.22.32) also caused some
similar grief.
Post your config line, OS, and versions, and you're bound to get
better help.
