To hopefully end this discussion:
I will commit changes to odbc_close()/odbc_close_all(), so that if you
explicitly close a connection, all associated statements will be freed.
So everybody can use PHP the way he likes: Don't care about resource
cleanup and let it be handled by PHP automatically or close connections
explicitly.
