ext/standard/filestat.c - usage of function getgroups()

i accidently checked in my patches to ext/sandard/filestat.c yesterday although i'm not yet sure that the getgroups() function is available on every platform, especially on Windows systems if it isn't -> please tell me (and as a workaround you might want to comment out the else-block containing the calls to getgroups) this should have been tested by configure, but i'm not that fit in autoconf macros by now, and now that the code is published anyway i'd rather like to see if it works for others than taking it back again -- Hartmut Holzgraefe hartmut@six.de http://www.six.de Besuchen Sie Six auf der Hannover-Messe (20.-25.3.) in Halle 14, Stand J50!
