Walt,
After having a look at ./confiugre --help I have found the option to enable
mm sessions is actually --with-mm. Configure/make doesnt quite cut it for the
extra session handling modules at the moment, here is why;
Currently there are at least two items for each ext/module that (should) get
stuffed into internal_functions.c, the first is a header file for the module
and the second is a pointer to the module.
It appears at the moment that the configure process obtains the header files
by something like *.h for each of the module directories, this works for
including the extra session handling modules.
The module pointers, the phpext_blahblah type entries, are contructed
from the module directory name, not the contents of the module directory. As a
result the phpext_session pointer is included, but the extra session handling
modules pointers are missed (they share the ext/session directory with the
session module). Is this a bug ? It does enforce a policy of one extension per
directory, which the session handling modules break.
