Hi,
Today, during a demo to my bosses, I think I found a bug in new commits to
the extract() array function.
extract() worked fine in beta3. I upgraded to 4b4pl1 the day after it came
out. I'm also using the Zend optimizer. I havent tried to use my code
since I upgraded.
this code worked fine in beta3:
$DED = 1;
if(mysql_num_rows($result) == 1) {
$appstuff = mysql_fetch_array($result);
extract($appstuff, EXTR_OVERWRITE);
}
echo $DED;
in beta4, when I try to echo or access $DED in any way, the whole page
returns "Document contains no data".
The following makes the problem go away:
$DED = 1;
if(mysql_num_rows($result) == 1) {
$appstuff = mysql_fetch_array($result);
// extract($appstuff, EXTR_OVERWRITE);
$DED = $appstuff[DED];
}
echo $DED;
If anyone can verify whether I found a bug, that'd be cool.
Thanks,
Allen Lee
