The lack of XSLT support is what made me left PHP for Java in my newest site... My purpose is not to say that it's a big loss for the PHP community :=) but rather to share some nice features I have found working with XT under a Java environment which could be considered for a PHP implementation. The communication between Java and XT is real fine. You can map Java classes to namespaces, call methods and get the return values back. These result values can scalars but also result tree fragments returned through sax events. On a similar way, you can define custom output methods which are receiving the result of a XSLT transformation as sax events and can add extra treatments and formatting. (I have published some examples using these features under http://downloads.dyomedea.com/java/examples/) All this is allowing to mix the power of a declarative language as XSLT and the flexibility of a procedural language which could be PHP with sax as the interface between the 2 worlds... Hope this helps Eric Victor Burwitz wrote: > > Is anyone working on a XSL (specially on a XSLT part) module? > > I evaluated the market for XSL libraries.
