Servlet Running problem

Hi, 1. The build of the servlet sapi is still bad. When doing an make install, a lib file instead of lib directory is created under the prefix. This should be fixed. 2. I've just finished build and did a quick test. It is still not behaving satisfactorily. I have this error: Fatal error: Failed opening required 'VERSION' (include_path='') in /opt/bonsai/www/ldap/default.php on line 171 I was able to fix this by modifying the file another file login.php from : require ("VERSION"); to : require ("/opt/bonsai/www/ldap/VERSION"); So the error message was wrong and does not give me proper error information to perform a proper debug. 3. Next, having the following entry in web.xml does not help, it seems. <servlet> <servlet-name>php</servlet-name> <servlet-class>net.php.servlet</servlet-class> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>php</servlet-name> <url-pattern>*.php</url-pattern> <url-pattern>*.php3</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> As you can see, all url-patterns with *.php3 should map to net.php.servlet. But it is not doing so, I had to rename quite a few files in order to look at them as servlets. 4. As pointed out in error 2 above, the path for the servlets are wrong. The include_path setting should be the default directory that the php files are residing in. But it is not looking there at all. Rant mode done. But hey, thanx for the great work thrown in here.
