Chris, The Windows version was still not compiled with the virtual current directory support. I don't know if this is the reason for your crash but the ISAPI module shouldn't work properly without it under high loads. If you know how to build the Windows version from source you could try and uncomment #define VIRTUAL_DIR in php.h and see if it improves things. Andi At 03:31 PM 5/10/00 -0700, Chris Adams wrote:

In case anyone else was hoping this version would have a stable Win32 ISAPI DLL, this version still quickly fails with an access violation. It appears to be better in that the occasional "PHP has encountered an Access Violation at (01185BA6|0118F2B4)" is less likely to bring down the whole server. Still, a wload test with for or so separate 5 threads will quickly send inetinfo.exe into a loop. -- PHP 4.0 Beta Mailing List <http://www.php.net/version4/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: php4beta-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php4beta-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php4beta-admin@lists.php.net
