bug in odbc?

I´m not sure whether this is a bug or not. I tried the Adabas SQL command (I think it isn´t ANSI) "EXISTS TABLE $ tablename" - if the table exists everything is right, if not the browser uses more and more memory, does not display anything and then (if not killed) crashes the maschine. If the table exists, TRUE is returned if not, an error is returned, but I think it does not find it´s way to PHP...??? Executing this statement from an Adabas program works, in both cases. andré
