I too have this problem (kind of). When configuring (with my config options from 3.0.12), I get the
following error :
checking whether to include Pdflib 2.0 support... /usr/local/pdflib ...yes
checking for zlib (needed by pdflib 2.0)... no
configure: warning: If configure fails try --with-zlib=<DIR>
checking for PDF_close in -lpdf... no
configure: error: pdflib extension requires pdflib 2.0.
However, I did specify where libz is, and it worked fine in PHP3. When I configure using the same
options (nut no PDFlib), it finds zlib no problem, and adds support for it. What is going on here
when this happens? I have even told configure to look for zlib before PDFlib.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
David.
