The first thing is to stop it adding /include and /lib on to the end of the
supplied expat path (or to make it work without the /include /lib if those
dirs aren't present). I was using for now:
--with-expat=/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/apache_1.3.9/src/lib/expat-lite
and had to make softlinks to . for lib and include in that dir.
Other than that:
Apache 1.3.9 statically links to the expat library so can mod_php even call
xpat via apache like this? I bet not.
Right now I am modifying my apache srpm's so a binary rpm of the libexpat.a
and the xmlparse.h xmltok.h is also created which can then be used after
installation by mod_php.
Is there anyway mod_php can use the apache link of expat? How would I even
link to a .so? (Which would then need to be a seperate RPM package
anyway...)
