Hi:
Synopsis:
Authentication (
require user') not checked when ErrorDocument'
points to a PHP page. [Apache/1.3.9 + PHP/4.0B2, Solaris 2.5.1]
Description:
One of ErrorDocument directives in httpd.conf is set to point to a
PHP page somewhere. The server contains a protected <Directory>
elsewhere. (The two are not related at all). When I try to access
the protected area, I'm not prompted for username/password at all
but the server goes "unauthorised access" immediately. Now when I
use a plain HTML page instead of the PHP one in ErrorDocument
directive, or when I comment the ErrorDocument directive out, or
when I use PHP3 instead of PHP4, everything works fine.
Has anybody observed such a behaviour?
