hi mr. autoconf (stig?), we'll need to make a few adjustments to the configure for --enable-thread-safety mode. (i'm kinda lost here) libzend/zend-scanner.l needs to create zend-scanner.cc (c++ version) and that needs to be complied: my ugly hack (libzend/Makefile) did: hack: $(LEX) -+ -S$(srcdir)/flex.skl -Pzend -ozend-scanner.cc -i $(srcdir)/zend-scanner.l g++ -g -Wall $(DEFS) -c zend-scanner.cc -o zend-scanner.o so i could say: # make hack .... # make to get my ZTS version of libzend. also -I../TSRM -I../../TSRM needs to be in some of the makefiles the last thing is that i think we should have a --shared-code (or ...) that will compile libzend, TSRM and php with all the needed flags (-fPIC etc) using libtool. if some brighter guy cou make those adjustments we'll shall see a ISAPI module on unix soon (-er or later). the zeus guys will give us demo-keys - one problem with their current architecture is that it's no longer multi-threaded but uses select/poll (similar to roxen/squid). that's a no-go for php4 - but they told me that they have an ipc-driven-multi-threaded-isapi-runner in the works, and that i'm going to get it soon - tc
