hi, I know this is not a beta question, but ....
I have apache(with mod_ssl,mod_...) and php4b (with freetype,mysql, ...).
Now, i have a problem, Everytimes a new php comes out, i wanna to use it.
But i have to compile it and then compile the whole apache monstrum again.
Is it not possible to compile php independently from apache ? i mean,
compile php copy it somewhere, killall -1 httpd, and apache runs with new php,
without to having recompiling apache ??
thx for some ideas
