IIS and PWS are basically the same program. IIS only runs on NT Server, PWS
on NT Workstation. PWS has stricter user limits than IIS. And, I think
that PWS is lacking some of the nicer aspects of IIS. But, PHP should run
just fine either way. I have seen some PHP config info for PWS floating
around, you might dig through the PHP 3 list archives.

I'm hoping someone has been through this before. I am trying to install
IIS4 on a NT box. I was told to install Personal Web Services first then
apply service pack 5 and it would be upgraded to IIS. Did that but it
still looks like pws. Is this a usable app for php or di I need to do
something different to get a functioning web server?
Quite a frustraing process compared to apache.
Thanks in advance
