The thread-safe version isn't written correctly and thus it doesn't work with the AOLserver. I'm surprised it compiled for you. If you have time to check it out that would be great. Andi --- Andi Gutmans <andi@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/After a bit of hacking, AOLserver performs now well. And it does not crash anymore, nor does it lock up.The attached patch to TSRM.c is necessary to allow recursive calls to some tsrm functions. Dropping the lock temporary does not work reliable, and will lead to races.I'd appreciate feedback for this patch. The idea is to "emulate" recursive mutexes. My tests (running http_load with 100 parallel fetches) show that it seems to work.Great, I will try odbc with aolserver - did this already some days ago but it seemed to be a nogo, simple skripts worked but the server hung on anything odbc related. Did you already try some database module with aolserver?
