Sorry if I'm dense, but I don't see how the data ordering problem is related to buffering
necessarily. Doesn't the buffering (or not) happen downstream from the construction of data?
So, if the page attempts to start sending data down the pipe before using header(), then header()
should rightly complain. Separately, if buffering is turned on, the buffering module would catch
whatever is being sent by data output functions and/or header() in whatever order, else whatever
data is constructed just gets shoved out the pipe.
I doubt it that a header() error should stop processing though - it seems to me that error
shouldn't be fatal but I don't know.
Is there a reason you must send data before headers? Sorry if I misunderstand your problem.
