If you run "ls -ld /usr/include/asm/." and get "ls: /usr/include/asm/.: No such file or directory", this means your Linux kernel header files are not configured properly. /usr/include/asm should be a symlink to ../src/linux/include/asm, which should in turn be a symlink to asm-i386 for Linux on Intel boxes. This is not a PHP problem. - Stig On Tue, 9 Nov 1999, Richard Feather wrote: | Okay, Apache 1.3.9, b3-RC3, Linux-Mandrake 6.0. | | Configure: | | with-mysql, with-xml, enable-track-vars | | When I run make, the process gets into libzend, reaches zend-scanner.c and I | receive the following error: | | In file included from /usr/include/bits/errno.h:25, | from /usr/include/errno.h:36, | from ./zend-scanner.1:41: | /usr/include/linux/errno.h:4: asm/errno.h: No such file or directory | make[2]: *** [zend-scanner.lo] Error 1 | make[2]: Leaving directory `/storage/php-4.0b3-RC3/libzend' | make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 | make[1]: Leaving directory `/storage/php-4.0b3-RC3' | make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 | | Thanks. | | ______________________________________________________ | Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com | |
