Here's another compile error I was able to easily fix:
/bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -O2 -o php -export-dynamic stub.o libphp4.la
/usr/local/lib/libgd.a(gd.o): In function `gdImageColorResolve':
gd.o(.text+0x288): multiple definition of `gdImageColorResolve'
.libs/libphp4.a(gd.o)(.text+0x58):/usr/home/jeff/Build/orig/PHP/php-4.0b3-RC3/ext/gd/gd.c: first
defined here
/usr/libexec/elf/ld: Warning: size of symbol `gdImageColorResolve' changed from 202 to 195 in
gd.o
/usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot open -lsnmp: No such file or directory
gmake[2]: *** [php] Error 1
My GD is 1.7.3+GIF, if that means anything. I just commented the
gdImageColorResolve out of gd.c. It then links. I notice there
is the #ifndef HAVE_GDIMAGECOLORRESOLVE / #endif block, however, it
appartently isn't set right on my system.
