The introduction of libtool caused some problems for the linking of the Informix extension, because it needs "checkapi.o", an object file and not a library as you would expect. However, I can still build the Apache module (I tried a static build only) from the latest CVS, with both the Informix shared libraries and static libraries. I could send you my configure scripts for PHP4 and Apache 1.3.9 if needed (I have versions for Red Hat 5.2, Red Hat 6.0 and SVR4.0 Unix).
