php4 beta 3 with pdflib

Hi, all, I have been trying to compile php4 beta 3 with pdflib suport. This is what I did: Compiled and installed pdflib: $ tar xvzf pdflib-2.01.tar.gz ./configure make make install ln -s /usr/local/lib/libpdf2.01.so /usr/local/lib/libpdf.so ldconfig Compiled and installed Apache 1.3.9 and php4 4.0.3: $ tar xvzf apache_1.3.x.tar.gz $ cd apache_1.3.9 $ ./configure $ cd .. $ gunzip -c php-4.0.3.tar.gz | tar xf - $ cd php-4.0.3 $ ./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache_1.3.9 --enable-track-vars --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/lib --with-tiff-dir=/usr/lib --with-pdflib=/usr/local/lib $ make $ make install $ cd ../apache_1.3.x $ ./configure --prefix=/www --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a $ make $ make install $ cd ../php-4.0.x $ cp php.ini-dist /usr/local/lib/php.ini After start apache , php works OK , but functions of pdflib were not recognized. thanks for any help.
