Hello everyone. I'm working on embedding PHP in Pike and making a
module to Run PHP embedded in Roxen. Currently I have something that's
actually working. In any case, I have a couple of questions:
Thread Safe coding: I'm not completely sure how this is supposed to
be done in PHP. What do I need to call etc? When I tried using thread
safe coding as in the aolserver.c it died on various errors (seemed
almost random), even though I didn't actually use threads
anywhere. Any tips or even docs would be nice.
FILE *: It seems like PHP (or zend?) uses FILE * when opening
files. This is generally a bad idea since it will fail if the FD is
higher than 255, something that's not rare on busy sites with a
single-process webserver like Roxen. Most OSes nowadays does support
more than 256 FDs so it might be something you might want to look into
fixing.
I believe that's all I have right now. Thanks.
