I'm trying to compile and install the lastest version of Apache 1.3.9 and
PHP4b3 on a Linux (Slackware) machine. I have a fairly old kernel 2.0.38
which doesn't want to compile MySQL, so I installed the binary version.
I followed the example in INSTALL file with PHP giving the MySQL binary
path. PHP compiles without a problem, but when Apache is compiled it throws
the following error. How can I get around this without having to upgrade my
kernel etc so that I can compile MySQL? I'm getting desperate!
