I've upgraded my PHP to a more recent version (I couldn't get CVS to
build, so I took the Beta 3 from the web page....who needs sleep
anyway!) and I'm still getting the same errors.
As it stands at the moment the code is a bit complicated, at least in
terms of identifying the problem (I'm uploading and image file, getting
it's details with GetImageSize, placing them in the database and copying
the file to the images directory. Then I'm creating a thumbnail of that
image by exec'ing imagemagik's convert utility, inserting the details of
that image into the database, then creating an entry in another table
that refers to those two images).
Unless you guy are desperate for info now I'll try and work on
pinpointing it a bit further (which probably won't happen before this
time tomorrow, I have to go to work in an hour and have a late night
doing an after hours Y2K upgrade tonight).
OTOH perhaps I'm wrong, I've just tried commenting out everything except
the first GetImageSize I get the errors:
===
post.c(314) : Freeing 0x0819EAB8 (12 bytes),
script=/www/htdocs/testsite/cat-addentry.php3
zend_API.c(192) : Freeing 0x0819F048 (44 bytes),
script=/www/htdocs/testsite/cat-addentry.php3
zend_hash.c(99) : Freeing 0x0819F000 (20 bytes),
script=/www/htdocs/testsite/cat-addentry.php3
===
If I comment out that too, then I don't get the errors.
The form I am using to upload the image is:
======
<form ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" method=post
action="cat-addentry.php3">
<TABLE width="100%" border=1>
<TR>
<TD bgcolor="#ffe6a6" colspan=2 align=center>
<INPUT TYPE=hidden name=PARENT_ID value=3>
<INPUT TYPE=hidden name=af_cat_id value=3>Enter Item Information
</TD>
</TR>
<TR bgcolor="#b591ff">
<TD>One Line Description:</TD>
<TD><INPUT type=text size=30 name=af_entrydesc1></TD>
</TR>
<TR bgcolor="#b591ff">
<TD>Item Image:</TD>
<TD>
<INPUT TYPE=hidden name=MAX_FILE_SIZE value=100000>
<INPUT NAME=af_imfile type=file>
</TD>
</TR>
<TR bgcolor="#b591ff">
<TD>Long Description:</TD>
<TD><TEXTAREA name=af_entrydesc2 rows=8 cols=40></TEXTAREA></TD>
</TR>
<TR bgcolor="#b591ff">
<TD colspan=2>
<Input type=hidden name=af_action value=catEntryAdd>
<Input type=submit name=af_submit value='Submit Item'>
<input type=reset>
</TD>
</TR>
</TABLE>
</form>
======
And with all the other stuff commented out the bit which processes the
form (which is included as "adminfuncs/$af_action.inc" from an include
from an include from the cat-addentry.php3 file .... that sounds a bit
silly, but it seems reasonably sensible the way I have it organised, and
I like the abstraction) amounts to:
======
<?
if (isset($af_cat_id))
{
// 1 Check and insert the first image
// 2 Create the thmbnail and insert
// 3 update the catentry table
// 1
$af_imfilesize=GetImageSize($af_imfile);
/*
// 2 ......
// 3 ......
*/
}
else
{
$errorstr .= "You must select a category to rename<BR>";
}
?>
======
Does that help at all? If not then perhaps my includes play a part. If
there is anything else I can do to help identify the problem, then
please let me know how I can help. I really should start getting to know
the source sometime.
Cheers and thanks for all the hard work, it is appreciated.
Paul.
