HELP - RH 6.1, Apache 1.3.9. Informix & PHP4

Hi all, Could someone help me. I have : - RH 6.1 - Apache 1.3.9 - Informix OnLine - Php-3 and php-4b3 I am building from sources, because I'd like to add some other modules (SSL, etc.) later. I am able to build Apache with Informix and Php3 and it works (both builds are possible). Currently using dynamic loading. Php works fine. With php4 I am not able to build it. If I select static binding the apache build complains about some informix libraries missing, with dynamic build I receive an error saying that .so library is missing. I've added /opt/informix/lib and /opt/informix/lib/esqlc to /etc/ld.so.conf. Could you point me to a proper FAQ, or give me a hint how to patch apache or php makefiles to make the sw run.
