Sascha, Thanks. I've added -L./ext/informix -L/opt/informix/lib/esql -L/opt/informix/lib to EXTRA_LDFLAG in Makefile and it worked. Which file should I change that it won't be necessary to manually update Makefile after each ./configure ? There is another warning / error (not related to Informix) In Apache error_log file I get the following messages upon startup: PHP Fatal error: Unable to load dynamic library './php_dbase.dll' - ./php_dbase.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 PHP Fatal error: Unable to load dynamic library './php_dbase.dll' - ./php_dbase.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0 [Wed Dec 8 12:57:06 1999] [notice] Apache/1.3.9 (Unix) PHP/4.0b4-dev configured -- resuming normal operations I've tried to locate the dll file, but it seems that it does not exist.
