I followed the php-4.0b3/INSTALL to a "t"
Everything compiled fine, copied the binary, added the Addtype as described,
yet apache doesn't send the .php file to the engine. In the response
header, Server = Apache/1.3.11(Unix)
Shouldn't it append PHP to the Server string if the compile was a success.
The INSTALL file notes to configure
"--activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a". I did this, then after the
above problem, and noticing that the file libphp4.a does not exist in that
path, rather libmodphp4.a, I tried this as well.
Any help is greatly appreciated as we are looking forward to kicking IIS/ASP
for an open-source solution.
Thanks,
Troy
