Hello everyone,
I created a tool that parse QA Reports email and aggregate them on a nice
interface.
It is then easy to see which tests are most failing. It appears most of the
time this is the test itself that is not working.
The interface can be seen live on http://phpqa.ajeux.net/
I was invited to post current source here, and see if this can fit directly
on qa.php.net website. I would be very happy if my tool can be useful for
other people.
Source code link : http://phpqa.ajeux.net/phpqa.zip
Warning : Current sourcecode is crappy.
I'm only asking what's your feeling about this, and then I'll see what needs
to be rewritten for a first import.
My notes for the moment are :
- enhance documentation
- enforce security on all input fields (nothing to worry, but worth to check
this twice)
- uniform spacing. I personnaly would like to follow this guideline :
http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/coding-standard.coding-style.html
If there is already a specific guideline for php tools, please let me know.
I already have to make sure I followed this standard throughout all files ;)
- translate comments
Some (minor) comments are still in french, I will of course translate them
before initial import.
- prepare testing framework
- make HTML cleaner, maybe make it XHTML (current source gave me 113 errors
in validator.w3c.org ... Yerk)
- use CDN network for resources like JQuery, used in this project.
I really want to start on a good base, so that many people can help and for
this project to be really useful.
More feedback ? More features wanted ? Please let me know !
Olivier
