php.net redesign

Hi, I haven't followed the prototype.php.net implementation from the begining, but from my perspective one of the things it lacks is a new modern look and feel. In stead of criticizeing the current design I have a suggestion how it could look like, have a look at this: http://wojak.u.bitbit.net/20110625.prototype.php.net.tar.gz This design considers the following ideas: - the well known php color space shuld be used - the desing should not introduce any confusion, users should get an impression that the new design is intuitive in relation to what they known from before - the design should introduce the new modern standards of web design The panel below the main menu is expanded, it would behave as it is in prototype now. But basically it does not suggest any new functionality, it is only look and feel, so please consider only the graphic design for now. The sketch is in very early stage, I have many ideas how it could be improved, but I decided to publish it now to make sure this work is needed and it goes to the right direction. So have a look and send back a feedback. Wojak
