And this would be me. :) I'm looking to maybe start contributing to both the website side of things and, if it's open to contributors, the sysadmin side of things. I'm a member of the Fedora Project's core sysadmin team (not sure if using that as a reference does me any good here :P). I don't see a whole lot of newcomers to this list, so I'm not really sure of the best way to introduce myself - I'm Ricky, a sophomore in college at the University of Akron here in Ohio. I am majoring in CS and in general I love programming, using logic, and contributing what I know back to Open Source Software, in return for the experience of learning more. I did have one question - is there a web/infrastructure irc channel anywhere, or is the list the primary and preferred method of communication? Just thought I would throw a bit of an introduction out here -- Have to start somewhere :) I am available on quite a number of IRC networks as 'CodeBlock'. At least: Freenode, Slashnet, EFNet. Feel free to ping me at any time on any of those, and I will respond as soon as I see it. Thanks for any help you can throw me in getting started here. I have already cloned the svn repo of the website and plan to start hacking on/sending patches for the beta site. -Ricky
