Sorry about the formatting of the last email. ;)
On = Enabled and buffer is unlimited. (Use with caution) >>> will probably
result in a white screen of death
Off = Disabled
Integer = Enables the buffer and sets its maximum size in bytes >>> an
integer setting allows you to control this directive using a numeric value
to avoid "blah"

No, all I was trying to accomplish was to maybe make the documentation a
little clearer to help someone else out in the future if they had the same
misunderstanding of the how the settings for output_buffering should be used
"correctly". My original email was phrased terribly and sent the wrong
message entirely. This is what I meant to say. And the only purpose for
bringing this up is I thought maybe an additional bit of help documentation
would save someone else from doing something dumb like set output_buffering
= On without fully understanding what this really meant. ;)
What i was trying to get at is that using just "On" is almost guaranteeing
that you are going to have a problem. ;)
On = Enabled and buffer is unlimited. (Use with caution) >>> will probably
result in a white screen of death Off = Disabled Integer = Enables the
buffer and sets its maximum size in bytes >>> an integer setting allows you
to control this directive using a numeric value to avoid "blah"
Paul sent me this info below, which I played around with, but did not have
much success with. Anyway for my uses I would never be setting
output_buffering to On. I was merely documenting all the possible errors
that would occur if someone actually did do this. I have a plugin that
allows users to edit their php.ini files so I was just looking ahead at the
possible mistakes.
""On" is still a valid value and not always likely you'll hit the timeout
limit of a white page.
When you use output buffered pages, you should still have a sane
max_execution_time() value on your script to make sure it doesn't tick away
forever.
Thanks.
- Paul."

I don't understand what you are asking..
Are you saying there is a bug in the docs somewhere?
If so, please file a bug report on https://bugs.php.net :)
