Help us defend the internet

Hello, It’s Zak with Fight for the Future. We were behind the SOPA protest organizing (americancensorship.org and sopastrike.com). Your site referred a lot of traffic to our SOPA pages, so we were hoping you'd join our newest project, the Internet Defense League. It hasn't launched yet, but we'd love to have you as an early member (reddit and cheezburger are in!). We've just finished up design on the home page: internetdefenseleague.com The league is an attempt to organize our network power and be a force to be reckoned with when a grave threat or unmissable opportunity for internet freedom arrives. Websites and individuals take part in the league and help fight back when there's a threat or opportunity by broadcasting action messages through their networks, or other creative actions. IDL would act as a “bat signal” for threats to Internet Freedom. When there is a huge threat, just like SOPA almost passing, we'll take action together. For big sites like yours, there's definitely no commitment to join us for every action, but the idea is that by having a large network of potentially participating pages, we would be a real force to be reckoned with and that will play out how it does against some given threat or opportunity. We'd like to launch soon, but wanted to see if you'd join us as a member first. We would love to have you! Thanks, Zak Fight for the Future!
