This is just one more reason to not launch it until it is better. I think that there has been a reasonable amount of coding over the last two years to suggest that this hasn't died but is simply moving along slowly. It's hard when you only have a couple of committers who aren't in sync and never get to work on the project at the same time. That being said, I think there is progress being made.
