I already have a PHP-CVS account. We would like to have our extension as part of the
standard PHP bundle. I guess this is what you are referring to below as "bundled".
If I submit the code of the extension as part of the php head branch and also update the
php-docs with the functionality of the extension, does that make it live on php.net?
Can you also point out the differences between having the extension as part of the PHP
bundle and having it as part of PECL?
Thanks,
Mohammed

We would like to add the documentation of this extension to the "Vendor Specific Database Extensions" page. Can you please direct me to the procedure that needs to be followed to accomplish this task. The php.net documentation only cover extensions distributed from php.net (either via pecl.php.net or bundled). All those extension are OSS and more or less covered by the PHP or BSD licenses. If that sounds good to you, please contact the PECL development mailinglist and propose the extension (see http://pecl.php.net/account-request.php for more info). -Hannes
