Hello, Hannes. My name is Denis. I’m responsible for PHP.net at AOE Media. Kian gave me your contact so that we solve all technical questions directly. So, let’s start, >> 2. >background:url(../images/note-corners-back.gif) 0 100% repeat-x #FFFFFF; The last >> version which was sent contained this file. > > AFAICT the "PHP.net_fixed.zip" since June 17th is the latest package I have, and it > does not have that file no. > Archive: PHP.net_fixed.zip > inflating: css/base.css > inflating: css/content.css > ... > inflating: .htaccess It’s very likely that you have some troubles with the markup versions. As there was a bit another structure in the last version. I’m attaching an archive for you, please, study it attentively, it differs a bit from that you have just shown to me. --- >> 3. The padding is removed, and it doesn't look very good, if the design has round >> shapes. >Which padding on which page exactly? I had a look at http://bjori.php.is/ (it doesn’t work now, this is why I can’t show the page exactly) and found a lot of discrepancies with the design and the markup, which were given, including padding in the site header and sidebars. --- >> 5. The comments on the same page were changed and the markup was not completely done unlike >> my version, because of this the edge border became a lot darker. >I must have copy&pasted something incorrectly then. The markup of the comments we can change >at will. Please, let me know, if you need our help to change anything (design or markup). I'll answer questions as soon as I can. --- >> 8. They added something near Add Note - thus, FF now has a white line there (which >> wasn't contained in my markup). They probably added a padding somewhere. >The only change I did to the css was in content.css where I added a class for the >below-top-menu-warning I would recommend to use our last markup variant in order to avoid possible discrepancies and bugs. As already said, if you want to change something, simply let me know, and we will do our best. --- >> 9. I specially added the markup of a common page - and they have it looking another way. >> The same happens to other pages. >Please be more specific. I meant that besides the homepage, I also attached examples of some markuped internal pages, which also corresponded to the initially approved design. I’ve just noticed, that you didn’t use these pages. --- >> 10. There's not valid code in the side menu. We have another markup in it. > At a quick glance I can't see anything wrong with it. > Guess I'll have to run it through validator later today. I also attached this code to the last version. --- >>12. Last time I sent the whole css in one file, but they didn't use it. My advise is to >>use it, as it will reduce the server load. >? I noticed in your folder structure that you were using several css files: css/base.css css/content.css css/handfield.css css/helpers.css css/ie.css css/print.css css/reset.css css/screen.css Although the last version was improved so that all styles were in one compressed css file style.css in order to reduce the server load. There is also an uncompressed version of the same file (for more usability) Best regards, Denis signatur_logo Denis Zastanceanu Lead Designer AOE media GmbH Borsigstr. 18 65205 Wiesbaden Germany Tel. +49 (0) 6122 58 70 20 Fax. +49 (0) 6122 58 70 99 e-Mail: <mailto:denis.z@aoemedia.com> denis.z@aoemedia.com Web: <http://www.aoemedia.com/> http://www.aoemedia.com/ Pflichtangaben laut Handelsgesetz §37a / Aktiengesetz §35a USt-ID Nr.: DE250247455 Handelsregister: Wiesbaden B Handelsregister Nr.: 22567 Stammsitz: Wiesbaden Creditreform: 625.0209354 Geschäftsführer: Kian Toyouri Gould
