Love your books! Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2009-10-05 22:44:45] danbrown@php.net That's all we ask. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2009-10-05 22:41:19] mike at damm dot com I am sorry I hurt your feelings, since you clearly spent dozens of minutes adding this feature. In the future I will make a note of visiting the jQuery example page you lifted the code from to get a handle on the expected behavior before reporting that it lacks any coherent usability design or function. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2009-10-05 21:57:54] danbrown@php.net We're sorry, there is no substitute for common sense by our users, as is evident in such a case. Collapsible sections are new technology, and we hope that you'll someday learn how the concept works, and feel comfortable returning when you've gained more web surfing experience. Thanks for your report! P.S. - To "eliminate this crap," as was incorrectly submitted as a bug (not a feature request), simply click the area once more. Voila! What once was lost now is found! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2009-10-05 21:52:32] mike at damm dot com Description: ------------ On a documentation page Clicking between the title of a section on the left and the "Report a Bug" on the right causes the contents of the section to disappear. Reproduce code: --------------- --- From manual page: function.strpos#Return Values --- 1. Visit php.net/strpos 2. In the first light blue box click between "Description" and "Report a Bug" 3. Contents of the box will disappear Expected result: ---------------- UI explaining that this will happen, and UI for getting the contents back. An even better fix would be to eliminate this crap. Actual result: -------------- Total and complete FAIL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=49783&edit=1
