Ferenc may not have worded it ideally, but he is quite correct and I agree with his point: there is no guarantee that the current trunk will be PHP 6, nor that there will ever be a PHP 6, given the argument presented on Internals when this was first discussed a few months back that it might be better to skip it to avoid confusing people who were unfortunate enough to buy "PHP 6" books. The point is: at present, there is no PHP 6. There may be in the future, but I don't think it's correct to say that trunk is unequivocally the "future PHP 6", and doing so only risks confusing an already muddled situation further. Adam
